Refund Policy

We stand behind Clarity. If you're not completely satisfied, we offer a 7-day full refund — no questions asked.

1. Eligibility

• Refund requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of the original purchase date.
• Applies to all paid plans: Pro Monthly, Pro Annual, Elite Monthly, Elite Annual, and Founder's Pass.
• One refund per customer per 12-month period.

2. How to Request a Refund

Email support@jscreatorpro.app with subject line "Refund Request — [your email]". Include your order confirmation number or the email used during checkout. We process all refunds within 3–5 business days.

3. In-App Purchases (Apple / Google)

For subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, refunds must be requested directly through the respective store's refund policy. We cannot process store refunds on their behalf.

4. Web Purchases (Stripe)

All web purchases via our website are eligible for our 7-day refund policy directly. Contact support@jscreatorpro.app and we will initiate the Stripe refund.

5. Founder's Pass

The Founder's Pass is refundable within 7 days of purchase. After 7 days, the Founder's Pass is non-refundable as it grants permanent lifetime access.

6. After a Refund

Upon refund, your account will revert to the Free plan. Any data you've created will be preserved for 30 days, after which it may be deleted if you don't re-subscribe.

Terms of Service

By downloading or using Clarity, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Clarity, you confirm you are at least 13 years old and accept these terms in full.

2. License

JSCreatorPro grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Clarity for personal, non-commercial purposes.

3. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter (calorie counts, transactions, etc.).
• Do not use the App for unlawful purposes.
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the App.
• One account per person; do not share credentials.

4. Health Disclaimer

Clarity is a personal tracking tool — not a medical device. AI nutrition insights are informational only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice.

5. Financial Disclaimer

Clarity's financial tracking is for personal budgeting purposes only and does not constitute financial or investment advice.

6. Availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance may occur with 24 hours notice where possible.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time.

8. Limitation of Liability

JSCreatorPro is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Clarity.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.

Data & Security Policy

Our Security Architecture

Clarity uses enterprise-grade security at every layer:

• Authentication: Firebase Auth with Google Sign-In. OIDC-compliant ID tokens with 1-hour expiry and automatic refresh.
• Transport: All data transmitted over TLS 1.3 with HSTS enabled.
• Database: Google Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL 15) with encrypted at-rest storage. Private IP, not exposed to the public internet.
• API Layer: Cloud Run with mandatory Bearer token verification on every endpoint. SQL injection prevented via parameterized queries.
• Rate Limiting: 120 API requests per minute per user to prevent abuse.
• AI Data: Gemini API calls include only the minimum context necessary. No raw personal identifiers are sent to Gemini.

Data Isolation

Every database query is scoped by your unique Firebase UID. It is architecturally impossible to access another user's data through the API.

Data Deletion

Account deletion cascades across all tables (food logs, transactions, tasks, lesson completions). Full deletion typically completes within 72 hours of request.

Breach Notification

In the event of a security incident affecting your data, we will notify you via email within 72 hours of discovery, per GDPR Article 33 standards.

Cookie Policy

Clarity is primarily a mobile application. This website (clarity.jscreatorpro.app) uses minimal cookies.

What We Use

• Session Storage (not cookies): The mobile app uses browser sessionStorage for auth token caching — this is not accessible to third parties and is cleared when you close the app.
• No Third-Party Ad Cookies: We do not use advertising cookies. Ever.
• No Analytics Cookies: This website does not use Google Analytics or similar tracking tools.

Firebase Auth

Firebase Authentication may set a session cookie on the web version. This is strictly functional and required for sign-in. It expires with your session.

Your Control

You can clear sessionStorage at any time through your browser settings. This will sign you out of the web version of Clarity.
